Yardage fee: $15 for registered horses, $10 for other horses. Pass out price: $10 in addition to yardage. Coggins test fee: $15 if no Coggins test can be provided within one year before the sale. Catalog Fee: $50 [for registered or unregistered horse] Futurity Fee: $25 on day of Sale, plus $25 on day of Futurity. Web site / newsletter advertising fee: $50 [no charge if horse sells at auction] Hollywood Rapper stud fee: $1000 We accept credit cards and debit cards as payment. Terms and Conditions 1. The horses are offered for sale according to the laws of the State of Mississippi. 2. Meadows Livestock Sales, LLC acts as commission agent only. All responsibility and guarantee lies between the buyer and seller. 3. The highest bidder will be the buyer, and if dispute arises between two or more bidders, the horse in dispute shall immediately be put up again for advance bids. If there be no advance bid the horse shall go to the person from whom the auctioneer recognized the last bid. The auctioneer will decline any bid made by parties who have defaulted in former purchases or by persons who, in his judgement, are not re-sponsible bidders. 4. Terms of sale are cash and payment must be made to the cashier immediately after the sale. 5. Upon receiving payment for a horse, the cashier will issue an order to obtain delivery. Buyers are cautioned not to lose these orders. Buyers assume all expenses and risks on horse after they have left the auction ring. Buyers must make arrangements with sale company for care of stock until it can be removed. 6. Upon failure of compliance with any of the above conditions, the lot shall be resold by public or private sale, and the deficiency (if any) remaining after such resale shall be made good by the defaulter immediately. 7. If any person shall purchase a lot and not pay for it as described above, nothing shall prevent the auctioneer or the owner from compelling the purchaser to pay for it if the auctioneer or seller shall so deem fit. 8. Sale management and auctioneers are not responsible for errors or omissions, and assume no liability on its part or on the part of the seller as to any condition, either verbal or written regarding horses sold. 9. Any known defects will be announced before each horse is started. Every horse will be sold under this rule. Therefore no horse can be rejected by the buyer when struck off by the auctioneer. The seller guarantees all mares are bred in foal, but selling then as they are and without return privileges. Unless otherwise specified. 10. Immediately after the horse is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession of the horse can not be obtained by him until payment has been made. 11. Buyers and spectators are cautioned to be careful while on the grounds and particularly while horses are being shown or sold in the ring. The management cannot be responsible for accidents. 12. Transfer of ownership of any animal is not completed until a check or draft, made in payment for the animal has cleared the paying institution.
